Women’s Golf Championship

The Women’s Golf Club is holding its annual Club Championship Tournament on June 14, 16 and 21. To qualify, one must have played and posted six sanctioned club events in the last six months. Sign up in the Pro Shop before the deadline of June 7. The fee is $35. Overall Champion and 1st place winners of each flight will receive a diamond or medallion. Other winners will receive a prize. For more information, call Tournament Chair Ura Furry at 951-244-1910.

Jack and Jill Tourney

The Women’s Golf Club invites all members of the Men’s, Women’s and 9ers’ Clubs to sign up to play in the Jack and Jill Tournament on July 9. Players are invited to pick their own foursome tournament. Signup sheets are in the Golf Pro Shop. The cost is $35 per person. For more information, contact Lou DeYoung, Donna Nunes, or Maxine Whalen.

Family Golf Club

Membership in the Family Golf Club is open to all golfers – men, women and youths. The club’s official golf day is Wednesday, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Some members schedule golf days on Mondays, Fridays or Saturdays at 11:30.

The tournament director works closely with Golf Pro Pat Kemball and his staff to assure that tournaments are balanced. For membership information/application, contact Kevin O’Leary at 951-818-3361. For general information, contact Tom Ward at 714-309-6923.

9ers Golf Club

Ladies who would like to play with the 9ers Golf Club are invited to contact Linda Kielty at 951-746-2250. All levels of golfers are welcome. The club meets each Thursday, at 9:30 a.m., in the Magnolia Room at the Country Club. They tee off at 10.

After Lunch Bunch

The After Lunch Bunch is a weekly Friday game for any male golfer with a handicap. Tee-off is around 10 a.m. Sign up between 8:30 and 9:15 a.m. in the Magnolia Room, or by phone at 249-4565 or 237-6102. The entry fee is $5; there is an optional skins game for an additional $5.
