Barry Alan Taylor suffered congestive heart failure and other complications, and passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by his side on February 29, 2016.
He was born in Sioux City, Iowa on October 19, 1951 to William Taylor and Viola Corrine Winters Estrem. He was the fifth of six children. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Southern California in 1976.
In 1992, the family came to Canyon Lake. Barry built several homes in the community and, in 1995, he opened LeCafe in the Canyon Lake Towne Center.
Barry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan; three children, Adrienne Adams, Stacia Salassa and Travis Taylor; and two grandchildren, Kyle Elvis Salassa and Kalao Scott Salassa.
A celebration of his life will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd. in Sun City, on Saturday, March 12, at 11 a.m.
