Accident takes out mailboxes on Vacation Dr.

Witnesses reported a single vehicle collision on Sunday evening, February 28, at the corner of Vacation and Wind Song Drives, resulted in a woman and child being transported to the hospital and heavy damage to a tree and mailboxes.

Residents who lived near the scene said the driver of the vehicle cut his arm. He told police the car’s gas pedal got stuck. There was no arrest at the scene and it later was reported the woman and child were okay.
