Royal Court steps it up during the holidays

The Royal Court stays active all year. With school, family, friends and their platforms, these busy young ladies still make time to help their community. Luckily, they are off school for winter break during their busiest time: the Christmas holidays.

Various members of the Royal Court and Talent Court performed and helped out at both of Canyon Lake’s tree-lighting ceremonies: the Towne Center Winter Carnival and Tree-Lighting at City Hall as well as the Tree-Lighting Festival at the Lodge. They attended the Family Matters Quarter Mania fundraiser and helped with other events as well. In addition, the Royal Court decided to adopt the “Lite ‘Em Up” project to bring cheer to others during the holidays. Through Lite ‘Em Up, they went caroling and brought home-baked cookies to different senior health care locations.

They also visited a home for disabled veterans, where they sang and brought cookies. In addition, they did various nice deeds (paid for the groceries for a young mother and paid for a restaurant dinner for an elderly couple).

The Royal Court Christmas Party was, of course, something they all enjoyed.
