Letter: Home Tour Kudos

Wow! What a marvelous Christmas Home Tour the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club put on this past Sunday. It was a hit, especially the five beautiful homes, decorated to the hilt. Thank you to those who volunteered to have their beautiful homes on tour – they were spectacular.

Thank you to all who worked so hard on this project: the special talents of Lyne Hall and to Tammy Stone for the publications, preparation of the maps, banners and tickets; the Christmas Tree Opportunity Drawing was also a huge success because of the hard work of chairwomen Bonnie Carnagey, Vicki Young and Karen Wallace – as well as for the 10 beautifully-decorated trees donated by so many of the talented women of the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club.

Thank you to Sue Collins for being the hostess coordinator and setting up each home and to those who volunteered to be hostesses at these homes. Ticket sales were handled by Jan May and her co-chair Suzi Delia and all who helped to sell tickets for the past three weeks.

Thank you to Sharon Carlson who headed up the refreshments, arranging for the goodies, decorating the Lodge guest tables and serving tables and to all who donated cookies and goodies; to Nyla Finch for again arranging the vendors for the Home Tour. Thank you too to those tireless women who donated decorations and time to help decorate some of the homes.

A very special thank you goes to the community of Canyon Lake that was so supportive of our event, and to the POA, the Lodge and staff for being so helpful with our event.  To you all, thank you!
