Remembering 9/11

The morning of September 11, 2001, started out like any other Tuesday. Americans went into work as usual, students took the bus to school, and the daily routine of a typical weekday morning continued. By lunch time, the entire world had forever changed. These young people gathered on Canyon Lake Dr. North on a weekend soon after September 11, 2001, holding signs and cheering the response they received from passing motorists. Their signs read, “Honk if you (heart) America!” And everyone did!
