Couples Eclectic

The Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club held its annual Couples Eclectic Championship, “Summer Luau,” on August 11 and 18. Chairing this event were Darlene Cortez and Ura Furry, who thank Pat Kemball and his staff for helping with the cards, scoring, summary and more.

Others they would like to thank are Dianne and Curt Schneider for organizing the skins, Dianne Schneider for the centerpieces, Christina Barton and her staff for lunch, Darlene and her daughter for the luau-themed cookies, and everyone who participated in the event.

Ura says, “Congratulations to all the winners and special congratulations to the overall winners.”

The Overall Gross winners were Inga and Terry Loy; Overall Net winners were Mimi and Vince LaRosa.

The Women’s Golf Club meets on Tuesdays to play 18 holes of golf. It is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association.
