Family Matters Club is in need of volunteers

The Canyon Lake Family Matters Club is excited to have grown so much in such a short time. In the year-and-a-half since inception. Founder and spokesperson Shawna Bowen says the club has put on many new events and have many upcoming events planned.

The club currently is looking for members to join committee groups and help out with the following events: Renaissance, Halloween Party, monthly meetings and fundraising committees. Anyone 14 and up is welcome to join a committee.

Shawna says the Family Matters Club is the first and only Canyon Lake organization to offer President’s Volunteer Service Awards for volunteer hours. Learn more or sign up at www.presidentialserviceawards.gov.
