Wegs’ Model A is ‘Judges Choice’ at car show

Hans and Linda Weg’s 1929 Model A won the Top 20 Judges’ Choice Award at the “Rods and Rails” Car Show in Perris on June 13. The show was held at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. Hans says, “I was so humbled, I had to have my head held up.”

Hans bought the car from someone’s garage in Norwalk in 1974. He began a frame-off restoration at that time, but then it sat in the garage 23 years before he finished the restoration in 1998.
