Enjoy ‘Evening in Hawaii’ dance Saturday

Summer officially begins this weekend, and there’s no better way to start the season than with the Picnic and Dance tomorrow, June 20, starting at 5 p.m. at Holiday Harbor. Sponsored by the Fine Arts Guild, the “Evening in Hawaii” themed event is open to the entire community and will feature DJ Rob Robertson.

Rob is returning after his Picnic and Dance debut last summer. In addition to spinning the platters, Rob will showcase his vocal talents by singing the songs of Elvis, The Platters, The Drifters, Engelbert Humperdink, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como and Willie Nelson, to name a few.

There will be prizes for the best decorated tables utilizing the “Evening in Hawaii” theme. Guests are invited to bring their own picnic dinner and favorite beverages. (Fine Arts Guild Benefactors will receive a complimentary bottle of wine.)

Tickets are $20 per person and are available by contacting Marlene Marich at 951-244-4313. Guests are able to reserve tables for eight, or come individually or as couples and join a table to make new friends. Seats will be available for those who wait until the last minute to get tickets at the door.
