Miss Ginny goes to Washington

Ginny Furnish (also known as “Miss Ginny” of Library fame) recently visited family members in Burke, Virgina with her brother and sister-in-law. They were invited by her nephew and his family. During their visit, they got to tour Washington D.C.

Ginny’s nephew, Jason, has been in charge of the Physical Therapy Department at the Pentagon for the past two years and is now planning a move to Colorado Springs, Colorado in June. He is a member of the Green Berets and served two tours to Afghanistan where he was awarded the Bronze Star.

Ginny says Jason took a few days off work to give the family a first-class tour of the Pentagon, Smithsonian Air Museum, Natural History Museum, Capital and surrounding monuments.
