On Tuesday, June 9, the Garden Club will tour the Gardens at Grand Traditions in Fallbrook. Members are asked to RSVP and to meet at the Lodge parking lot at 9 a.m. to carpool.
The cost for entrance to the gardens and tour is $10 per person. Those who desire to do so will go to lunch together afterward. RSVP by by June 1 to Joy Call at 951-733-8705 or Alicia Hanner at 951-244-6315. The Canyon Lake Garden Club is open to all Canyon Lakers.
The next luncheon meeting will be on Wednesday, June 17, at the Lodge. Social hour with vendors begins at 9 a.m. and the meeting at 10. It will consist of honoring past presidents, showing appreciation to committee chairs, installing the new board and presenting philanthropic donations and scholarships.

The Woman’s Club invites women of the community to the Stampede in Old Town Temecula today June 5, at 11 a.m. Reserve a spot by calling Lyne Hall 951-244-2101. Cost is $25 and includes a buffet lunch, line dancing and professional line dance instruction.

Canyon Lake Association of Men
The Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) will have its annual picnic on Wednesday, June 17, at 5 p.m. at Holiday Harbor. All members, significant others and community men (plus guest) interested in joining CLAMS are invited to attend. This is in lieu of the regular monthly meeting at the Country Club. The Bosom Buddies mission is to educate, inspire and support newly diagnosed breast cancer patients during their breast cancer journey. The Tennis Club invites residents to come out for Social Play on Mondays and Fridays at 8 a.m. It is open to all levels of players and is a way to meet other players without committing to a schedule. The Canyon Lake Ski Club began in 1970 and is the largest 3-event USA Water Ski sanctioned club in the United States. Members of all ages and skill levels participate in slalom, trick, and jump skiing at both the North Ski Area and Jump Lagoon year round.

The Canyon Lake Bible Club is now meeting on Thursday evenings, at 7 p.m. at Canyon Lake Community Church, facilitated by Richard Cunha.
Meetings of the Yacht Club are held on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Lodge. Boat ownership is not a criterion for membership. Members enjoy fun events throughout the year, including the Moonlight Cruise, Progressive Dinner, Lake Clean-Up and more. Canyon Lake Association of Men
The Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) is an organization that has been in existence for the men of Canyon Lake for the last 42 years. CLAMS welcomes men of all ages who would like to participate in activities promoting the Canyon Lake community. Dues are $25 per year. All Canyon Lake women are invited to attend the Canyon Lake Association of Women (CLAWS) group bunco on the second Wednesday of the month in the Magnolia Room, downstairs at the Country Club. The cost is $10 per player. Participants are asked to bring canned and packaged food for the community cupboard. Game begins at 3 p.m., please arrive 15 mins early to pick up game card and sign in. Del Mar Races is scheduled for Thursday, July 23. Play the ponies! Make your bets! Bus will leave the Lodge at 10:45 a.m. First post is at 2 p.m. The cost is $39 for members and $44 for guests. Space is limited to 40, so make reservations early by contacting Cathy Buell at 951-244-4850.
“The Best of Eastern Canada” is planned for September 6 through October 5, 2015 for $2,295 per person, double occupancy. Airfare round trip is approximately $795. See Canada in all it’s autumn splendor. Stay in first class hotels and sightsee by deluxe motor coach. Cities visited will include Toronto, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, Montreal, Kingston and Quebec City, with interesting side trips and many meals included. The deposit was due April 1. Fitness and Triathlon Club

The Car Club holds meetings the first Thursday of each month at the Lodge. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the general meeting at 6:30. Learn about upcoming events, listen to guest speakers and share automotive experiences. Finger foods will be served and a 50/50 drawing will round out the evening. Roadrunners RV Club dinner meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. Social hour begins at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6. Twirler Square Dance Club
The Twirlers meet on Wednesday evenings in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge. There is a workshop for experienced dancers from 6:15 to 7 p.m. This is followed by the Twirlers Class from 7 to 9 p.m. with instructor Vic Kaarie. Former dancers are always welcome. Dress is casual. Water Ski Club
Residents interested in joining the Water Ski Club are invited to visit canyonlakeskiclub.com for membership forms, information and news about the club. The club is comprised of skiers of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. In addition to having 365 days of access to one of the nicest slalom courses in the country, the club hosts several ski competitions and community events, including Breakfast with Santa, Polar Bear Day, Learn to Ski Days and the Fiesta Day Ski Show.
Kids Club meetings are held during the school year on Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the Sunset Beach Room at the Lodge. The last meeting of the season is June 6. Kids Club is a program in which young children and their parents or grandparents enjoy a morning of crafts, music, exercise, games, sports and a snack for just $2 per session. Family Matters Club
The Family Matters Club is open to all residents, young and old, kids or no kids. Monthly meetings are held the first day of the month, unless otherwise noted, and revolve around a fun theme with speakers, games, prize drawings, crafts, snack and social time. Locations vary. The club puts on several events throughout the year to benefit the community and to raise funds for future events and to provide philanthropic donations.
