Residents looking for a nice way to spend Sunday evenings are invited to watch the ShowCal Skiers Water Ski Show Team perform at the Jump Lagoon every Sunday, 5 to 6 p.m., through July 5.
“Let Us Show You A Good Time!” is a one-hour performance complete with music, costumes and a live announcer. The club’s mascot, Sammy Hotdog, also will take to the water. Learn to Ride
Also this weekend, the Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club is hosting a “Learn to Ride Day,” with guest coach and professional wakeboarder JD Webb, courtesy of Hyperlite wakeboards. Webb is called “one of the greatest wakeboarders of all time.” Registration begins at 8 a.m. tomorrow, June 6, in the North Ski Area. The cost is $15. Learn to Jump
And that’s not all! Also on Saturday, the Canyon Lake Ski Club is hosting a “Learn to Ski Jump” clinic in the Jump Lagoon. Boats, equipment and instruction will be provided at minimal cost. Learn To Ski
Next Wednesday, June 10, the Ski Club will host Learn to Ski Day for children of all ages in the North Ski Area. Available times are 1, 2 or 3 p.m. Space is limited and pre-registration is necessary. For advance registration, call Terry Pierce at 951-609-4790. There is a cost of $10 and skiers need to be members of USA Water Ski for the day, which can be handled on site at the North Ski Area.

Fiesta Day Ski Show
All these clubs had participants in the Fiesta Day Ski Show, announced by John Whitlow, with sound provided by Cherie Schiafone.
The drivers were Mike Murphy and Don Loney. Mike also wowed the crowd with his tower hydrofoil.
