The crowd that loved Fiesta Day is more than excited to see Taco Tuesday begin next Tuesday, June 3, at the Lodge and Sunset Beach. The weekly gathering allows residents to enjoy the beauty of the lake, the camaraderie of being with friends and neighbors, a place for children to burn off energy and young adults to show off their sand volleyball skills, and a satisfying selection of inexpensive food choices, drinks and snacks.

Roanne Grasso of ABC Bounce says the company has a brand new water slide this year and, for the first time, will offer Hawaiian shaved ice along with the usual Snack Shack treats.

Good Time Entertainment DJ Mike Shroyer will provide music each week, along with dance-along contests and other games.

In the Pool View Room (next to the patio) the Lighthouse Restaurant will offer tacos, enchiladas, hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken breast sandwiches, tostadas and more. Check the Lighthouse Facebook page for details.

At the indoor bar, guests can purchase a 22-ounce refillable Taco Tuesday logo cup for $13 with margarita or soft drink. Margarita refills will be $3.75; fountain drink refills will be $1.

Taco Tuesday can get very busy and parking tough to find in the first few weeks; but the Association plans to once again offer shuttle service on the loop around Canyon Club Dr. and Lighthouse Dr.

CLPOA Board Meeting

Making parking even more challenging next Tuesday at the Lodge will be the monthly meeting of the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association Board of Directors, which begins at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room.

The meeting is televised on Verizon Channel 39/Time Warner Channel 29, and is streamed live www.canyonlakepoa.com. The agenda for the meeting can be found on Page A-14.

The EVMWD Lake Lease Workshop originally scheduled to follow the Board meeting has been postponed; however, residents can submit written questions/concerns to corporate@canyonlakepoa.com.
