In spite of last weekend being chilly and dreary, several groups put on successful events that were open to community members. Since there isn’t enough space to feature all of the events and photos on color pages in this week’s issue, here’s a picture preview of these community events. On Friday, April 24, the Woman’s Club held its annual Fashion Show, with the theme “Swinging Sixties.” (Photos were taken by Bert Barbay and Bob Ireland.)
On Saturday, April 25, the Wakeboard Club hosted a Learn to Ride Day in the North Ski Area. (Photos were taken by Mike Clary.)
Also on Saturday, the Art Association hosted a Spring Gala art show in the Senior Center. (Photos were taken by Leann Kluck.)
On Sunday, April 26, the Family Matters Club welcomed all seniors to a free spaghetti dinner at the Senior Center. (Photos were taken by Donna Ritchie.)
On Monday, April 27, dancers entertained a crowd of kids and parents at the Library’s “Dia de Los Niños, Dia de Los Libros.” (Photos were taken by Mary Munson.)
