Winners of Tennis Spring Doubles Mixer announced

The Tennis Club congratulates the winners of the Canyon Lake Tennis Club’s Spring Doubles Mixer held Saturday, April 11. Pictured are the winners, Val Gamina, Tom Bol, Marina Stinson, Charlie Jenkins and Marilyn Stovall. Winners not pictured are Carlos Hansen and Nancy Contreras.

The next home tournament is the Celebrate Wimbledon Team Mixer on Saturday, June 13, at 8 a.m. Players are encouraged to wear white. The fee to participate in the tournament is $10 per member. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, June 10, by contacting Kathy Clark at 760-413-7817.

The club will be hosting its annual Shadow Mountain Resort weekend tournament in Palm Desert on May 15 to 17.

The Tennis Club invites residents to come out for Social Play on Mondays and Fridays at 8 a.m. It is open to all levels of players and is a way to meet other players without committing to a schedule.
