The Miss Canyon Lake Scholarship Pageant is a tradition that has been ongoing for many years in Canyon Lake. This program emphasizes the ability of the Royal Court and Talent Court to participate in community service, volunteer service and education. All Miss Canyon Lake contestants will be required to have interviews, know facts about their community, and have a platform outlining a community service or volunteer program that they will actively promote within Canyon Lake.

There is also a talent competition portion of the program; however, this is not a requirement to be in the pageant. Participating in the talent competition is optional.

The next signup date is Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Pool View Room at the Lodge. Signups and rehearsals will continue every Wednesday in April. The last day to sign up for the Miss Canyon Lake Scholarship Pageant is April 29.

The age groups will be 5 to 25. Anyone competing for Miss Canyon Lake must be a senior in high school or currently attending college. The pageant will be held on May 16, at 7 p.m. at the Lodge. CoCo Morrison is the director and Janelle Basham is the assistant director.
