All peeps invited to tomorrow’s Easter Carnival

The mad dash to collect colored golf ball “eggs” in search of that one special “egg” will take place at the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival tomorrow, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Jr. Women’s Club and the Men’s Golf Club will start the Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. with the tossing of the “eggs” for children to gather. Each child who participates will receive a prize; but the child in each age group who finds the special egg will receive a $20 gift card to Toys-R-Us.

This year’s age groupings have been divided even further to make the search a little less hectic. They are: 0-2, 3-4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9-10 and 10-12. Children need to bring their own baskets to collect the “eggs.”

In addition to the Egg Hunt, wristbands will be available for $10, which includes unlimited access to the carnival games, bounce house, giant slide, face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon clown and a craft table.

Food tickets will be available to purchase such items as pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, cotton candy, chips, baked goods, beverages and more.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand to pose for photos, so parents are invited to bring their own camera for this photo opportunity with their children.

A drawing for prizes will take place towards the end of the event (ticket-holders do not need to be present to win). Tickets will be $1.

Adults can buy last-minute Easter basket fillers from vendors such as The Haute Box Mobile Clothing Boutique, Origami Owl, Pampered Chef, watch bands and scarfs, cheese Boards and vintage items, solar/home improvements, purses, Vivi Bows and Hats, Scentsy, Bags & More, handmade jewelry, Brown 31 Gifts, Beauty By Bee, The Cup Above, Ever Skincare, Prayerfully Made Jewelry, Desert Rose Clothing, The Nifty Necklace and others. All vendor booths have been sold out. For information regarding booths, call Julie Stover at 951-265-9722.

High school volunteers can still earn community service hours by helping with the day’s activities. To volunteer, call Carol Basse-Winn at 951-264-4364 or e-mail canyonlakejwc@gmail.com.
The Jr. Women’s Club still welcomes donations or prizes from local businesses or clubs. For general information on the Easter Carnival, call Alana Reynolds at 714-468-2415.
