Dispose of used tires for free

Residents of Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore and Wildomar can drop off old tires at a free recycling event tomorrow, January 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Canyon Lake City Hall, 31516 Railroad Canyon Rd.

City residents can transport up to nine tires maximum per trip. Proof of residency is required. Only passenger and light truck tires will be accepted. No semi truck or trailer tires will be accepted, nor will tires from businesses. Rims must be removed.
