All ages invited to the Library in 2015

Toddler Story Time will not meet Monday, January 19. The Canyon Lake Library and all Riverside County Library System (RCLS) branch libraries will be closed that day for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.  The book drop will be available for returns and the RCLS Internet site at www.rivlib.net will be available for renewals, use of databases and placing requests.

The Canyon Lake Library will return to its regular schedule on Wednesday, January 21. Toddler Story Time will resume on the following Monday, January 26.

The Canyon Lake Knitters have returned from their holiday break. The group meets every Wednesday, at 11 a.m. in the City Multi-purpose Room/Council Chamber. New members are always welcome to bring needles and yarn or just come for suggestions.

On Monday, January 26, at 4 p.m., Family Movie Night will present the feature film, “Dolphin Tale 2.” The movie is rated PG for “some mild thematic elements.”

Preschool Craft and Story Time with Miss Ginny will return to its every-other-Friday schedule on Friday, January 30, at 11:30 a.m. The story time will be celebrating National Kazoo Day.

Library hours are Monday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The library is located in the back of the City Hall building in the Canyon Lake Towne Center. For more information, call 951-244-9181.
