Letter: Pancake Breakfast

The Canyon Lake Lions Club would like to thank all who came to our Pancake Breakfast in support of our Club. The homemade pancakes were a big success and enjoyed by all. The weather cooperated, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. A special thanks goes to our Lioness Club for taking care of serving food, making coffee, setting tables and helping out in general.

Cub Scout Pack 346 members Matt and Luke Thomas and Gavin Dalton, and also Troop 2011 members Hayden and Blake Dalton did an outstanding job of collecting donations for our White Cane Project. These donations will be used to supplement the optical exams and eyeglasses that Mission Optometry provides.

Thank you also to all the businesses that purchased space on our placemats. They were used at the breakfast and will be used at other Lion and Lioness functions throughout the year. The Friday Flyer deserves a huge thank you for printing our tickets along with providing great Friday Flyer coverage.

The funds realized from this project will be used to help those less fortunate during the holiday season.
