Interested in Horses?

Are there any Canyon Lakers, children or adults, interested in learning to ride horses? The POA is considering offering riding lessons and horse/pony camps, but they need to know whether residents are interested. You do not have to own a horse to participate.

POA Board members will be at the Equestrian Center on Wednesday, May 4, from 3:30 to 4 p.m. to discuss the possibility of group riding lessons and vacation pony/horse camps. Everyone is encouraged to stop by, even if for a quick 5 minutes, to let the POA know of their interest. Those who cannot make it in person are invited to call the Activities Department at 951-244-6841, ext. 610, or send a brief email to cpratt@canyonlakepos.com.

Spokesperson Gretchen Painter says, “Tell your friends, tell your neighbors! The more you contact the POA, the better the chances for the return of this fun and educational activity. Your contact is not a commitment; it’s just to show interest. Again, you do not need to own a horse!”
