The Canyon Lake Tennis Club held its annual Palm Desert weekend at the Shadow Mountain Resort on the weekend of May 18 to 20. The weekend included an exhibition match with Tennis Club Pro Baba Soysa (pictured second from left) and his partner against the Shadow Mountain Tennis Resort pros, as well as member tennis tournaments on Saturday and Sunday, a cocktail party, potluck and fun at the pool. George Middle, one of the POA's newest Directors and a member of the Tennis Club, participated in the weekend.

Team C won the team tennis tournament on Saturday. Winners were Cindi Domann, Tammy Kennedy, Mary Hayes, Krista Smith, Mike Elliott, Kristen Kennedy, John Kennedy, Ray Fillmore, Dave Harrigan, Lac Buffamonti, Todd Barsby, Marilyn Stovall, Dave Pinard, Kristy Toups, Mike Banfield, Linda Hauser, Dale Tittlemier and Rick Hauser.

Winners of Sunday's tournament were Patti Rogers, Dave Harrigan, Dale Welty, John Kennedy, Kristen Kennedy, Julie Martilla, Dave Pinard, Susan Tittlemier, Jim Wentzel and Tom Bol (not pictured).
