Canyon Lake Community Theatre (CLCT) presents "Theatrix," a Musical Journey Through the Arts, tomorrow, May 5, at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge.
Theatrix is a cabaret show consisting of singing, acting and dancing segments. Performances also will preview this year's scheduled musicals, “Annie Jr.” and "Into the Woods."
Among the performers, ages 5 to 85, are the Choraleers, Paul Chenette, Rosalie Perrotte, Ron and Janice Myre and many more. Award winning directors, Ilene Moore and Leslie Vecchione, have again teamed up and assembled some of Canyon Lake’s finest vocalists and actors.
"Many of these young adults now in high school and college literally grew up performing in and receiving much of their theatrical training in our CLCT productions," says Ilene. "Poised beside our talented CLCT veterans, our newcomers and a glorious gaggle of children, this show will be an inspiring and entertaining evening for all."
There will be a table for tax-deductible donations. Individuals, corporations and businesses who love to support the arts and encourage local talent are invited.
For tickets, call Charlene Landau at 746-4619. For benefactor information, call Ilene Moore at 909-239-1177.
