The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club is starting the new 2012 wakeboard season with its first "Learn to Ride Day" on April 1 in the back bay of the North Ski Area. All ages and abilities are welcome. The price is $10 per ride. Club members provide boats and equipment for the day. The Woman's Club’s major fundraiser, the annual fashion show, will be held Friday, April 27, at the Lodge. This year’s theme is “Jewels of the Nile.” Activities will include entertainment, a silent auction, theme basket drawings, door prizes and a $2,500 grand prize drawing. Tickets are $45.
