Traffic flow and safety are priorities as work continues to widen Railroad Canyon Rd. to six lanes, according to City officials. The 10-month, $7.5 million project, which started in earnest on January 16, limits westbound traffic on Railroad Canyon Rd. to one lane. Canyon Lake finds cool way to be green

Canyon Lake has discovered a cool new way to be green. The City recently replaced an aging heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at City Hall and upgraded thermostats and lighting in City Hall and Fire Station 60 with energy efficient systems. Earthquake Drill The Canyon Lake Emergency Preparedness Committee (CLEPC) will host an Earthquake Drill on Saturday, February 25, at 9 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help man the "practice" shelter at Canyon Lake Community Church.
