What is the City leadership thinking or lack of? Why would anyone start construction on the major artery to Canyon Lake when the East Gate road is still under construction? This leaves the only open entrance to the community that is not hampered the North Gate.

The construction has created a major hazard for our school children that ride bicycles to Canyon Hills elementary and middle schools, and it is forcing parents to drive their children to school, creating a further traffic jam and road hazard. And this is all being done in our rain season and has the potential for major flooding and accidents. So much for caring about the safety of our community. The property owners with backyards facing Railroad Canyon now have a freeway.
