Editor, The Friday Flyer:
There is a cancer growing in Canyon Lake and I regret very much my vote for help putting it here. Mr. Neigel spoke to us at the Equestrian Center and said he would never vote to have motorcycles in Canyon Lake. I told him, since he had been elected, I had seen more motorcycles racing up the streets. (They have a friend in office now and have become very brave and the security does nothing.)
Almost on cue, here come a motorcycle roaring past. Mr. Neigel said, "He doesn't belong to my club." How in the heck would he know? They hide behind googles and helmets.
Unfortunately, I had already voted for these two jerks. Personally, I would rather have my assessments go up $50 a month than have the peacefulness of Canyon Lake destroyed. Mr Neigel informed us that there are already 400 motorcycles in Canyon Lake. If they were legal, how many do you think we would have?
I heard Paul Johnson was fired. Why wasn't this in The Friday Flyer? Why are there people checking out the Equestrian Center? Are they looking for a place for a motorcycle garage? Can't you just hear the noise now, all of the hours of the night and day, and Mr. Neigle wants to be the security in Canyon Lake. Good luck with that.
My friends told me I would regret my vote and do I ever. We have traded one corrupt situation for another. Please people of Canyon Lake, instead of “a little bit of paradise” we will have a whole lot of hell. Oh yes, I want to ride my horse on the street, too; how about that Mr. Neigel?
