Letter: One of the best POA Boards

Article

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

I wanted to mention to our POA elective Board members of Canyon Lake, I was

able to view the last Board meeting, even though it was later shown, and give them a large "thank you."

I am a member of the Riverside Mental Health Board here in Riverside County and the ethics and respect, along with neutral respects for our Canyon Lake residents is to be commended. My husband and I have owned property here since 1974 off and on. I feel this is one of the best POA Boards who truly represent the people.

As for me, an active board member in a different capacity, I want everyone to know we are fortunate to have Board members who are acting and looking out for our benefit. Any Board is committed to the principles of the bylaws (basically the Fruitage of the Spirit quoted from the Bible), and I feel all here are doing so.

Please know, it is like taking care of a very large family. These are the volunteers who are giving of themselves. Anyone attacking their character or thinking this is easy only causes our values and narrow-minded thinking to set a poor example for our children and grandchildren. Please, can we handle our disagreements with honor and dignity with respect toward each other?

I also want to encourage the dog park mention. I have to let my dog go to another community park, just so he can run without being on a leash. Please set a good example for our children.
